Walkers Tours Represents Sri Lanka at WTM London 2024

The World Travel Market (WTM) London, the world’s leading travel and tourism event, brought together industry professionals from across the globe for three days of networking, education, and business opportunities. Held from the 5th to the 7th of November 2024, this influential event served as a platform for showcasing the best of international leisure travel.

Sri Lanka’s participation was led by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), in partnership with hoteliers and tour operators. The Sri Lanka stand was a standout feature at the event, winning the prestigious Best Stand for Doing Business award. Its professional and inviting design provided an ideal space for meetings and discussions, reinforcing Sri Lanka’s commitment to fostering strong international partnerships. Adding to the excitement, Sri Lanka was honored with the Gold Award for the “Most Desirable Island” at the Wanderlust Travel Magazine Awards held on the 6th of November in London. This recognition celebrated the island’s unmatched charm and appeal as a top destination for travelers.
