Sri Lanka Ranked Second Most Popular Travel Destination in Asia by Times of India

The Times of India has named Sri Lanka as the second ‘Most Popular Travel Destination in Asia’ for 2024, following Bali, Indonesia.

According to the Times of India, “These destinations are celebrated for their distinctive cultural experiences, stunning natural landscapes, and wide range of attractions, making them prime choices for travelers in search of unforgettable adventures in Asia.”

Sri Lanka is celebrated for its rich cultural heritage, stunning beaches, lush tea plantations, and diverse wildlife. Other top destinations in Asia include Thailand, Kashmir in India, Tokyo in Japan, Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, Kathmandu in Nepal, the Andaman Islands, Hanoi in Vietnam, and Kyoto in Japan.

Up until May 2024, the country has attar acted over 800,000 visitors and India remains a key tourism generating source marketing for Sri Lanka.
