On December 6, 2023, Walkers Tours proudly joined forces with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority for a transformative Sigiriya Cleanup Program.

Our dedicated team of 8 office staff actively engaged in clearing solid waste and plastics to enhance the destination’s allure. As part of our commitment to sustainability, Walkers Tours provided essential support by furnishing gunny sacks for garbage collection.

This collaborative effort exemplifies our dedication to a cleaner, more sustainable environment, making Sigiriya a pristine haven free from plastic pollution. Together, we’ve left an indelible mark on this UNESCO World Heritage site.
