We believe in travelling lightly on earth to ensure our environmental footprint is minimised. We are a leading South Asian Destination Management Company to own a CarbonNeutral® fleet of vehicles, having offset our greenhouse gas emissions every year since 2012. Not only does this reduce our impact on climate change, but also drives emission reduction efforts internally. We have been carbon neutral for a whole decade now and intend to remain a CarbonNeutral® fleet going forward.

Climate action
Walkers Tours Limited has committed to fully offset the CO2 emissions generated by its vehicle fleet during its business by purchasing verified, high quality carbon offsets from renewable energy projects. Maintaining CarbonNeutral® fleet certification guarantees our offsetting program is robust and allows us to communicate the carbon neutrality of our vehicle fleet according to best practices.

To achieve CarbonNeutral® fleet certification, Walkers Tours Limited is working with Climate Impact Partners, specialist in carbon market solutions for climate action. Sustainable Future Group had an independent assessment of the greenhouse gas emissions produced from mobile sources used to deliver the activities as well as consumption of Purchased Electricity and T&D losses.

Walkers Tours Limited is reducing its emissions internally by using Hybrid vehicles andcutting down on fossil fuel usage. To meet our carbon neutral goal, our offsetting program delivers finance to projects which are reducing emissions now, supporting the transition to a low carbon global economy. All the projects are independently verified to assure emission reductions are occurring. This ensures the highest environmental integrity in our commitment to have an immediate, positive impact on the climate.
