Walkers Tours Joins the Global Stage at ITB Berlin

For over 60 years, ITB has been recognized worldwide as a hub of industry knowledge, networking, and trendsetting events, whether virtual, in-person, or hybrid.

In March 2024, the global tourism industry gathered at ITB Berlin, the world’s largest travel trade show. Held under the theme “The Power of Transition Lives Here,” the official press conference on March 3rd highlighted the convention’s focus on the key challenges and opportunities that had shaped global tourism. The ITB Berlin Convention addressed how the industry had evolved and adapted in response to a constantly changing landscape.

The event featured over 200 sessions across 17 theme tracks, held on four stages, covering critical topics such as sustainability, technology, and corporate culture. More than 5,500 exhibitors from 170 countries and territories presented their offerings to nearly 100,000 visitors.

Walkers Tours had the honor of participating in this prestigious event, proudly representing Sri Lanka on a global platform.
