Walkers Tours takes pride in creating an environment that encourages diversity and inclusivity for our teams and this is reflected in our work culture and the holidays we create.

Health and safety are of paramount importance to our company, hence, there are several projects that are lined up annually to ensure the safety conscious culture is continued to deliver a fantastic experience without compromising on their health and safety.

We carry out baseline assessments to understand gaps and key issues faced by our suppliers and workforce. We offer trainings or encourage participation in other programmes on skill development to ensure individual sustainable development and industry growth.

Supply chain

A successful collaboration between John Keells Foundation, Whittalls Travels and Walkers Tours resulted in an initiation of a project in July 2021 for our very own chauffeur guides and drivers.

Staff

DE&I is a part of the DNA that runs through the company and hence the policy is merely a byproduct of it. The Group believes that DE & I play an important role in workplace respect, organizational success and sustainability for all stakeholders. Tours organized by WTL to cater to people with disabilities is one aspect of the business that displays inclusivity at a sector level. The Group is also a pioneer in offering careers to PWD (people with disabilities) which is now looked at being driven from a sector level.
