Our transportation department works around the clock to ensure you travel in comfort during your stay in Sri Lanka. Walkers Tours has a fleet of over 600 vehicles consisting of, luxury coaches, mini-coaches, cars, vans and SUVs which are of the highest quality. In addition to providing you with a range of reliable and comfortable vehicles, we have undertaken sustainability initiatives to safeguard the environment. We are the only Destination Management Company in Asia with a fleet of Carbon Neutral vehicles meaning you travel responsibly.

We have exclusive relationships with the best Tour Guides and Naturalists in the industry including the ’Best National Guide Lecturer’ and ’Best Chauffeur Guide’ of the Presidential Travel & Tourism Awards (both work exclusively for our group). This team of experienced guides and chauffeurs will accompany you during your travels and ensure that all your requirements are met and you reach your destination safely. Their knowledge of the island is also unmatched meaning that they will be able to answer any questions you might have or even accompany you on your excursions.

Domestic Flights

Our partner Cinnamon Air, operates the country’s leading domestic flight service for fast and efficient travel by air to all corners of the island. All the major destinations within the country are just a short flight away, considerably cutting down on travel time while giving you a gorgeous bird’s eye view of paradise. All schedules have been tailored, wherever possible, to mesh with the departure and arrival times of all major international airline services, letting you save both time and money. You also have the ability of booking charter planes and helicopters to travel to locations at times pre booked by you.

Public and Luxury Train Service

For a more scenic option of travel, Sri Lanka has an extensive rail service that operates throughout the island. Even though this is a slower mode of transport it is well worth seeing the surrounding landscape change from one beautiful backdrop to another. Expo Rail offers carriages that include, comfortable seats, air conditioning and a menu of tasty snacks and cool drinks which combine the nostalgic world of ’Old Ceylon’ with modern comforts. Expo Rail offers 3 main package categories for those traveling to Kandy, Trincomalee, Badulla / Bandarawela. Rajadhani Express also offers fully restored, air conditioned and wood-paneled coaches that recapture the experience of a bygone era. The 3 main package categories included in this service are, Colombo to Kandy, Colombo to Badulla and Colombo to Matara.
