Board the Air Taxi in the afternoon and be taken on a 25 minute flight above the hills to Kandy. The beautiful view from the air makes this grand city even grandeur. After landing continue your tour on land to reach the centre of the city. Visit the Temple of The Tooth, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that holds the tooth of Buddha. Head to villages nearby which spearhead the handicraft industry of the country as well as traditional dances. End the day with dinner and overnight stay in Kandy hotel.

The following day after breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya where Lord Louis Mountbatten’s headquarters was situated. Then proceed to the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala in time to view the bottle feeding of baby elephants
