Our four hour city tour covers the the National Museum (established in 1877 by Sir William Henry Gregory, British Governor of Ceylon), Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Vihara Maha Devi Park, Colombo Town Hall, BMICH, Replica of Aukana Buddha Statue, Diyatha Uyana- the picturesque market and landscaped gardens on the banks of the Diyawanna Oya, Parliament Complex, ‘Ape Gama’ Cultural Village (recreation of the villages of yesteryear in Sri Lanka with traditional elements) and Arcade Independence Square – a beautiful composition of heritage buildings restored as a vibrant public space with shopping and restaurants.
