Kitulgala was the film location
of David Lean’s masterpiece “The Bridge On The River
Kwai”. Today Kitulgala is an excellent area for adventure
activities including Mountain Biking, Birding and of course White
Water Rafting.
Our White Water Rafting programme
is a 01 to 02 hour excursion on the Kelani River. The short but
exhilarating excursion is ‘Level 03’ and is suitable
for most people between the ages of 08 and 60. The excitement and
adrenaline serge experienced while sitting in a 06 or 08 man raft
and being completely at the mercy of the rapids can only be expressed
as unforgettable.
