Sri Lanka has always been a popular tourist destination, offering a diverse range of sights, sounds and flavors from the tropical jungles and misty mountains of the central highlands. Much of the island’s beauty is bypassed because of the long journeys and congested routes often associated with internal travel. Sri Lanka Airlines has introduces the Air Taxi service with the intent of making all corners of our beautiful island accessible to tourist and locals alike.

As the waterways, lakes and domestic airstrips already exist; these facilities can be used to host the Air Taxi operations with minimal development and associated costs. Initial points of operation will be Kandy, Koggala, Bentota, Trincomalee, Anuradhapura, Hingurakgoda, Wirawilaand Ampara. Passengers originating from Colombo city or its suburbs will have the option of requesting for flights out of Ratmalana or Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at Colombo to the above destinations.

How to book:
Flights will be schedule according to passenger requirements subject to flight availability. For passenger convenience and safety, the aircraft will operate only during daylight and acceptable weather conditions.
